Rosario Ortiz de Chamorro

Born in the city of León, Nicaragua in 1949.

Studies: Mary Mount College, Boca Raton, Florida. Painter and Playwright Professor Alberto Icaza Vargas.

Since 1972 – To date she has held personal and collective exhibitions in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, United States, England, China, France, Belgium and Germany.

Works in private collections in the United States, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, England, Belgium and Germany.

Works on permanent display at Museo Rayo, Roldanillo Valle de Colombia, Museum of Latin American Art University Essex, Cholchester, England and Ortiz Gurdián Foundation Museum, León, Nicaragua.
